 Background Information:

The Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) at the U.S. Department of Commerce is the only federal agency dedicated to advancing the establishment and growth of minority-owned firms in the United States. With over a nationwide network  of over 40 business centers funded by MBDA. MBDA assists minority business owners with consulting services, contract and financing opportunities, bonding, certifications, training, and building business to business alliances.

Founded in 1973 as the Organization of Chinese Americans, OCA is a national organization dedicated to  advancing the social, political and economic well-being of Asian Pacific Americans in the United States. The OCA - Greater Chicago Chapter is made up entirely of volunteers who are committed to mission of OCA and support the OCA National programs in the Chicagoland. OCA is supporting the Asian American outreach effort of MBDA to reach the Asian American community.
